There are authentic Austrian cafes within a block, and the Mur River is just a short stroll away. I mean, couples rate the location 8.9 out of 10 for good reason — it’s romantic without being touristy, if that makes sense. The tram connections are solid too, so getting around the city is pretty effortless.

The Room Experience

The rooms feel thoughtfully designed rather than just decorated. Mine had this nice balance of modern comfort and Austrian charm — clean lines but warm touches that make you want to actually spend time there. The beds are properly comfortable (not just hotel-comfortable), and the bathrooms are well-appointed without being over the top. What I really appreciated was the attention to details like good lighting for reading and enough room to actually unpack your suitcase. The windows open wide, which is something you don’t always get in city hotels.

  Great large room with large 2 sink bathroom, perfect for family's AC is great in rm 208, great location, extremely helpful hotel staff, highly recommend, didn't eat breakfast overslept and was running out the door, it looked good though. tram stop right out side hotel, great place to stay!!!!

  Wasn't expecting my single room to have a bathtub so that was a lovely surprise! Excellent location if you're using the train station, only ten minutes from there and 15 minutes from the town centre BUT be aware that the Graz tram system is free within the centre plus one stop outside it, which means there's a free tram to and from the town centre via the Roseggerhaus stop only 3 minutes walk from the hotel!
  
  Reception staff were friendly but not intrusive which I appreciated, everything worked properly, comfy bed, consistent hot water, lots of plug sockets in the room, plus plenty of loo rolls in the bathroom. It was also free to leave my luggage by reception (until 8pm, when reception shuts). Check-in and check-out were both nice and quick. Would definitely stay here again!

  Location is good if you plan to walk around to see the sights. Hotel had parking on site which is always good. Not many spots so make sure you reserve in advance.

  The location was great, 1 stop on the tram from the main station. 3 stop on the tram from the main square. The hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff were a little lacking in helpfulness, or welcome.
